Authentication

Hero

Authentication you can trust.

SignX is built for collectors who value certainty. Every listing is held to clear authentication standards, with transparent proof shown upfront.

Browse with confidence. List with credibility.

Our Standard

SignX accepts memorabilia only when the item is supported by verifiable authentication evidence, such as:

  • Third-party authentication (COA/LOA) from established authenticators
  • Matching holograms/serial numbers and registry verification
  • Provenance documentation (event photos, purchase receipts, chain of custody)
  • High-quality signature close-ups and item condition photos

If proof can’t be verified, the listing may be rejected, removed, or flagged.

How Authentication Works on SignX

1) Seller uploads proof

When a seller creates a listing, they must add:

  • Clear photos of the item (front, back, details)
  • Close-up of the autograph
  • COA/LOA photos (front + back)
  • Any serial number/hologram images
  • Where and when it was obtained (best available detail)

2) Visible verification for buyers

Listings display authentication details clearly, so buyers can evaluate:

  • Authenticator name
  • Certificate type (COA/LOA)
  • Serial number / hologram ID (if applicable)
  • Supporting documentation

3) Ongoing integrity checks

SignX may request additional proof at any time and can:

  • Ask for clearer photos
  • Require registry confirmation
  • Pause a listing until verification is complete
  • Remove listings that appear misleading or unverifiable

What We Don’t Allow

To protect the marketplace, SignX does not allow:

  • Unverifiable “trust me” claims without proof
  • Altered or unclear certificate images
  • Fake replicas presented as genuine
  • Misleading titles (e.g., “certified” without a real certificate)

Buyer Protection Mindset

SignX is designed so buyers can make informed decisions before purchase

  • Proof is displayed on the listing
  • Certificates are shown, not just mentioned
  • Sellers are expected to answer authentication questions promptly

Note: SignX is a marketplace platform. Authentication responsibility remains with the seller, and buyers should review all proof carefully before purchase.

Seller Requirements

To sell on SignX, you agree to:

  • List only authentic items
  • Provide truthful authentication details
  • Upload clear, accurate proof
  • Ship the exact item shown and described
  • Accept that SignX may remove listings that fail standards
  • Any forged signatures or unofficial documents enable 110% refunds to the buyers*

Need Help Verifying?

If you’re unsure what to upload, start with:

  • A clean photo of the signature (close-up, sharp focus)
  • A full photo of the item
  • Certificate images (including serial/hologram)
  • Any registry link or verification reference

If you have proof, we help you present it properly.

FAQ

Does SignX authenticate items itself?

SignX focuses on marketplace standards and proof visibility. Where applicable, we support verification through reputable third-party documentation and registry checks.

What if my item has no certificate?

You may still list if you can provide strong provenance and clear evidence, but acceptance is stricter and may be declined.

Can buyers ask questions before purchasing?

Yes. Sellers should respond quickly and professionally.
